This locket is really lovely. It's a between the size of a nickel and a quarter, so it's a dainty and elegant size, not too big.
My only concern would be that it's rather thin--not to the point of feeling flimsy, but it just doesn't have the weight of some other necklaces. It's hollow so this makes sense, but if it had a little more heft to it it would stay in place better and feel a little more luxurious.
To get the photos in, I just cut out a little heart, curled it gently vertically, and then placed the point (bottom) end in first and slipped it in. Photos stay secure once placed in, and look amazing.
